For independent restaurants

Your guests have been here before.
Now your whole team knows it.

Regular connects your reservations, POS and schedule, then uses that data to look after each guest from the day they book to the night they come back. One suite of apps, built inside a working restaurant.

One guest, start to finish

Great hospitality used to depend on who was working the door. Now it runs on your data.

Every reservation, check and shift already tells you something. Regular puts it to work at each moment of the guest's experience, with an app for each job.

1Weeks out · Before they book

Fill the nights that need it, from the places that already send you guests.

Regular reads how your book usually fills and shows which nights will fall short, how many covers you'd need, and the cheapest channel to close the gap. Neighbors like hotels and theaters get their own link and QR code, and you see exactly who they sent.

  • Fill the Room14-day demand forecast with a channel plan for each soft night
  • PartnersReferral links and QR codes; credit paid only for guests who were seated

Fill the Room · 11 soft nights, 1,584 covers to find

24:00 PM line-up · Before they arrive

Walk into service knowing who's coming, who's celebrating and who matters.

Before doors open the host stand sees every returning guest, how many times they've been in, and what they like. Birthdays and anniversaries are picked up from OpenTable flags and notes, and personalized menus and postcards print themselves before service.

  • Today's GuestsRegulars, first visits, VIPs, allergies and seating notes for tonight
  • CelebrationsOne custom menu per diner and one postcard per celebrant, printed on your own artwork
  • InfluenceA 0–10 heads-up score for guests worth extra care, confirmed by a person
  • Group EventsA guest portal for large-party pre-orders, kitchen sheets and estimates
  • Opening & ClosingOpening walkthroughs checked against your own narrated standard before doors open

Today's Guests · 79 reservations, 59 returning, 47 regulars

37:15 PM · At the table

See why tables run long, and which pairings make the room work.

Regular matches each reservation to its Toast check and splits the turn into stages: greeting, first drink, first food, mains, check, departure. Managers get coaching notes for each server, not just a leaderboard. Attendance flags late clock-ins before the first table is sat.

  • Server PerformanceTurns on target, pace and spend per cover, with coaching
  • Staff PairingsWhich servers lift the shift together and which pairs to avoid
  • AttendanceScheduled shifts against clock-ins; one email when someone is late

Server Performance · 2,856 turns, 81% within target

4Next morning · After they leave

Thank every guest who dined, and win back the ones who didn't make it.

Each morning Regular pulls yesterday's diners, cancellations and no-shows and sends the right note from your own mailbox. Regulars who've been in recently are held back for a personal thank-you from a manager instead of another automated email.

  • Email CampaignsThank-you, cancellation and no-show follow-ups, with four variants each
  • Manager outreachA short daily list of regulars to thank in person

Email Campaigns · 38 regulars held for a personal note

5Weeks later · The next visit

When they come back, it shows. And you can see it in the numbers.

Every return visit is counted from finished reservations only, so "Regular · 19 visits" means nineteen real dinners. Insights shows how the room is doing: repeat guests, cancellations, email engagement and table turns, each number linked to its source.

  • InsightsReservation mix, repeat guests, email delivery and opens, group pipeline
  • ReportsTable turns against party-size targets, by server, table and night

Insights · 1,044 diners in 30 days, 96.9% email delivery

Everything Regular does

Thirteen apps, one subscription. Pick one to see what it does.

Every app shares the same guests, reservations, checks and shifts, so what one learns, the rest use.

Why it compounds

Every service makes the next one better.

The more nights Regular sees, the more it knows: who's a regular, what they order, which servers fit which tables, which nights need help.

  • TONIGHTA first-time guest celebrates a birthday with a menu that has their name on it.
  • TOMORROWThey get a thank-you from your restaurant's own email address.
  • NEXT MONTHThey book again. The host sees "Returning · 2 visits" and greets them by name.
  • BY SPRINGThey're a regular, and your manager thanks them personally.

How we build it

Numbers you can trust, and a team that stays in charge.

Nothing is made up

Every figure links to where it came from. If a stage wasn't captured, Regular says "not captured" instead of guessing.

Your staff has the last word

A name a host corrects stays corrected. Syncs, replies and automation never overwrite a person's edit.

Guest privacy by default

Contact details are visible only to roles that need them. Guests can be exported, deleted or opted out on request.

One price, every app

Turn more first visits into regulars this season.

We connect your systems with you and set up your first celebrations together, so your team sees results from the first service.

Questions owners ask

Why an annual commitment?

Regular gets more useful the longer it runs: regulars are recognized, forecasts learn your nights, and coaching has enough turns to be fair. The annual plan keeps the monthly price at $499.

Do I need to replace OpenTable or Toast?

No. Regular connects to the systems you already use and reads from them. Your team keeps working the way it does today.

What if I don't use Toast yet?

Most apps run on OpenTable alone. Course stages, revenue per cover and bartender recognition switch on once a POS is connected.

Who prints the menus and postcards?

Your own printer, on your own artwork. Regular sends them through PrintNode at the time you choose, and you only pay for printed materials at cost.

Do you support more than one location?

Yes. Regular is built for groups, with each venue kept separate and owners able to see across them. Talk to us about pricing for additional locations.

What happens to my guest data?

It stays yours. Contact details are visible only to roles that need them, and any guest can be exported or deleted on request.

About Regular

Built on a real restaurant floor, one service at a time.

Regular started inside a San Francisco restaurant, where the team wanted every birthday noticed and every regular greeted by name, without adding hours to anyone's shift.

Our story

All guests deserve great hospitality. We make it routine.

Most independent owners do everything themselves. The data that could grow their business already exists, scattered across reservations, the POS and the schedule, and nobody has time to put it together.

Regular is that time. We built it alongside a working dining room, shipped changes after real service nights, and kept the rules that held up under pressure. When a birthday was missed, we fixed detection. When a guest's name printed wrong, we made sure staff corrections always win.

Regular is made by Rich Ventures in the San Francisco Bay Area.

House rules we learned the hard way

  • Only finished visits count.A canceled booking never makes someone a "regular".
  • Never say "sent" until it was.An email, a print or a sync is marked done only when the provider confirms it.
  • Regulars get a person, not a template.Guests who've been in recently are held for a manager's personal thank-you.
  • A name needs both people. An anniversary menu waits for both names before it prints.
  • Influence is for awareness only.Scores are confirmed by a person before floor staff see them, and guests can opt out.
